Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Rosé Red: The Color of Excitement

A strong musky accord with some sweetness attached to it, is what envelops all of the notes in 212 RED VIP Rosé and gives it a very chemical feel that is nevertheless compelling and extremely modern. Urban, hot, and fresh at the same time — metallic-floral-spicy with a hefty musk (it lasts five days on paper). There are notes listed, such as liquor and tiramisu, that I don't smell at all. What I perceive is a rose-centered composition, with a lot of materials twisting the flower into abstraction and fantasy. Raspberry sweetens it, but at the same time brings acidity. Pink pepper brings texture. Tomato comes as the juicy note that I smell as mixed with a possible rhubarb. Metallic notes are not that far from rose in nature, so I might assume this is rose oxide coming in. Then patchouli working its transformative wonder. But the musk is what changes the game and makes this formula dynamic and alive. \n \nAll in all, a great fragrance that is not difficult to wear and still brings something strange and enigmatic, from a brand that we are used to see playing on the safe side. \n \n
